Poem #3

~Clouds Of Sunshine~

Today today, tis long past May,

The clouds in the sky are twirling.

Though it may seem that rain is underway,

The sunshine keeps smiling through…

I can’t believe that tomorrow is the last day of July!  Oh my goodness.  May God Bless it.

Mini Cooper

Why are Mini Coopers such cute cars!?!  I love them so much, and, I hope and pray that I will be able to find one to buy that is reasonable someday…*sigh*

~Mini Cooper~

There are so many cars in this world.

Some big and some small.

Some square and some circular.

The cutest car in all the world

Is a Mini Cooper!

Enjoy the pics below!  (And, if you don’t like Minis, don’t feel like you have to waste your time looking at the pictures)  Have a wonderful weekend! 🙂

This yellow one’s my favorite!  But I don’t like the convertible top.

The third one has a cool color.

The first two are SO cute!  They’re, obviously, older ones.

Reflections are very neat to me.  I love looking around and seeing what I can find in the reflections on the windows and mirrors.  One thing that’s fun is taking pictures of cool reflections that you see, but it’s hard sometimes to take the picture without getting the reflection of your camera in it!  Below are two cool reflection pictures.  I took them a few months ago…

Have a blessed rest of the week, and I’ll blog later! 🙂

“Who is that girl I see, starring straight back at me?  Why is my reflection someone I don’t know?!  Somehow I cannot hide, who I am, though I try.  When will my reflection show, who I am inside?  When will my reflection show, who I am inside…..”

Found It!

Ah ha!  I found my Very First Poem…It’s different, but I might as well share it!  I made a few alterations, but I didn’t want to totally change it.  Well, here it is…

~Sweet Surroundings~

Today is glorious,

Even though there are clouds,

The sun shines right through them.

I’ll never know how,

The earth was created within God’s hand.

The wind blows and the stream flows,

And the birds form a small band.

Their melody so sweet

And their sounds like silver bells.

The flowers that sway

With their scent that smells

So sweet!

Moving in the air

With their flare and pride.

So beautiful when they bloom,

Like a blushing bride.

Well, there you go!  Now, I must get up off the computer and go pack up my room.  I am moving to a different room in my house, and I’m very excited about it. 🙂  Have an awesome day, and a glorious rest of the week!

Poem Attempt #1

Okay everybody…Brace yourselves!  Here is one of my first poems.  I was playing around the other day and thought I’d write a small, odd, not really rhyming, poem about oranges (I ate an orange before I started writing, and it was very dry).  Any who!  Here is a poem…

Why so sweet and sometimes sour?
I don’t think we’ll ever know!
I grab a knife and sit at the table,
Where my orange rolls like a rubber ball.
Slicing through the rine, the juice squirts out,
As the circuler pieces fall onto my plate.
Why so round and yet sometimes square?
Why so fresh, like the morning air?
I’ll end with this (like anyone cares)…..
I love oranges!  (And teddy bears!)
Ha ha!  Alright.  I hope that this morning will bring forth a glorious day!  Now I need to go make some eggs for my baby brother because he has a “Tummy ache”… 🙂
God Bless,
PS. I’ll have to find my first poem that I wrote in January before my oldest sister got married…

As It Comes To The End

VBS is officially over!  We had a wonderful week, and I hope all of the kids went home knowing more about Jesus.  We had lunch after church (well, I kind of had lunch…First I made a sandwich, it was very dry.  Then I put some cheese puffs on my plate, and right before I sat down, they all fell off!  Oh well) and then we played on a water slide!  I did not play on the slide, but it looked like everyone had an awesome time!

So, now I am going to post the VBS pictures that I promised…There aren’t very many good ones, but oh well!  I will try to post a video too.  Enjoy. 🙂

The theme of VBS

Day #1 Pastor Jamie showing the kids a “Silver” rock!

The girl on stage is peeling the “Silver” (foil) off of the rock.

Two sweet little girls! 🙂

Dancing!!!!!  Day #2…I think?!

My camera battery was misplaced so I did not get any footage or pictures from the 3rd, 4th, or 5th day!  Here is one more picture though…This is from today.

I got a panda painted on my face!!!!! 😀  My baby brother got a dinosaur.  It was cute!

Well, that’s all I’ve got!  I hope that this week will be a wonderful one.  Enjoy the rest of the summer…

God Bless,

Precious Moments

I was in the laundry room putting my clothes into the washer, my sister was making waffles and pancakes for dinner, and everyone started to sit down and get their food.  Then, I looked over to the other side of the table where there were noises, and there was talking, and then I saw my sweet little brother, John, bowing his head, with his hands together on his lap,  in prayer before he ate his pancakes…..

There are some things in life that are just so precious!  But sadly for us, we only seem to capture one or two of those moments.  I just want to encourage you to really observe.  Don’t fly through your day.  Instead, take a long, deep, breath, and thank the Lord for your sweet and precious life and the wonderful people and things around you!  Bad things happen, but there are so many more good things then there are bad, we just need to realize it.

Have a blessed week/weekend.  Much love…

You make beautiful things, You make beautiful things out of the dust.  You make beautiful things, You make beautiful things out of us…..”
