Luke 12:22-31

“And he said to his disciples, “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat, nor about your body, what you will put on.  For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing.  Consider the ravens: they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds!  And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?  If then you are not able to do as small a thing as that, why are you anxious about the rest?  Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.  But if God so clothes the grass, which is alive in the field today, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith!  And do not seek what you are to eat and what you are to drink, nor be worries.  For all the nations of the world seek after these things, and your Father knows that you need them.  Instead, seek his kingdom, and these things will be added to you.”

New Places

Eleven of the seventeen puppies left for Wisconsin yesterday!  It’s weird not having them here, but definitely quieter and less smelly! 😉

It has been a good week so far, but since I didn’t go to church this past Sunday it feels like today should be Thursday!  I keep thinking it’s one day ahead then the actual day…I’m losing my sanity!

My sister, Sarah, and my brother-in-law are coming over tomorrow.  I can’t even believe that she is having her baby in about one month!?!  It’s so crazy, but terribly exciting.  Cael said other day “I’m goin a be a Uncle!” and then I said I was going to be an Aunt, and he says “Yeah, that’s good.” 🙂

Cael is the sweetest little boy.  So are John and Eli, but Bubba (Cael) is just SO cute!  I got a hangnail the other day (OUCH) which hurt really bad and I asked Cael how I could make it better, and he said “Jesus will heal it.  You don’t need a band-aid!” and he said it in a tone like ‘Shouldn’t you know this already, Jenny?!  Sheesh!’ haha

EW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  No joke, a little bug just CRAWLED OUT of the computer KEYBOARD!!! Blahblahblahblahblah!!!! 😦

Sorry about that.  Well, I have got to get going with the day!  It’s time for me to do some laundry and clean my messy room (yes, my room is almost always a mess)!  God bless this glorious day!!

Busy!!!

Dear Blog,

So…..it has been crazy around here!  And July is almost over! 😦  *sigh*

The puppies are leaving on Tuesday to go to their homes (hallelujah).  All of them are leaving, except for five which need to be shipped to Canada, Iowa, etc…we are keeping one puppy, a male and we haven’t settled on his name yet.

This is our puppy.

I’m going to post pictures of all the puppies because they look very different from when I last posted about them!  Enjoy…

Those were the seven puppies from Judy’s litter.  I’m going to post the second litter in smaller pictures.

And there’s Leah’s litter!  Aren’t they cute?  Well I’ll just let you know that they are pretty smelly, and quite loud! 🙂  But they are pretty adorable.

It has been so rainy lately!  All last week and all this week; only a few days of sun shine!  It’s quite melancholy, don’t you think?!  Hopefully Mr.Sun will show his face soon (I don’t exactly want to be in the sun, but I’m tired of the rain!  Just watch…I’ll soon be tired of the sun and be wishing for the rain!).

You know what?  I believe this is post 100!!!  Let’s give a round of applause *clap clap clap*…well, I personally think it’s an achievement to have posted 100 things. 🙂  Very cool indeed.

The chicken house is done except for the front door.  With all the rain it makes it very hard to build outside!  Our female alpaca decided it would be funny to sneeze in my face this morning and get little pieces of dirt and alpaca spit all over my face and shirt! 😐  It was NOT fun at all, and I smelled like I lived in a barn after she so daintily sneezed on me.  What did I ever do to her?! 😉

Well, I am tired and it’s only 8:40pm, so I think I’m going to go to bed early *yeah right*!  I will be posting soon, especially once the puppies are gone and I have a few moments of silence, which is hard even when we don’t have puppies whining and crying!  There are many things I need to get done and cleaned and organized, so I am looking forward to the day when I can sit at my desk and post every week.

God Bless you, and much love!  Happy 100th post!  Whoop!! 😀

Surprises, Celebrations, and Wishes

Hello hello!  How are you?  Well I hope you are doing just dandy. 🙂

Well!  Obviously I haven’t posted in a-week-and-three-days, so I decided to post today…no duh…

Anyways!  Let me share some things with you…..

Sunday July 8th, 2012 at my church: I woke up, like on any other day, and I took a shower, got dressed, and got ready for church.  My friend and I were suppose to help with children’s church, but plans changed, so we went into the church service.  After the service I went to my friend’s house to spend the day with her and watch movies, talk, etc…then we would go to youth at 7pm instead of 6pm that week–I was clueless.  The hours passed and the minutes faded, then before we knew it, it was time to leave, so we got ready.  We got in the car, drove to the church, and our youth Pastor was sitting outside on the steps so we went over to him, talked for a second, then we opened the door to go inside, and BAM!  I was attacked by pirates!!!!!  You don’t believe me?  Well then I’ll show you.

Okay, so that’s not a very good picture of me getting ‘attacked’ by pirates, but there you have it!  Ha ha! 😉

My dear family surprised me with a Sweet Sixteen party–Pirate Style! 😀  I LOVE me some pirates!  Arrr!

We had a three-legged race that my dear friend and I failed at horribly. 🙂  We had an egg toss (which I got egged on the arm horribly), and a treasure hunt where no one found the treasure!  It got dark during the hunt, so we couldn’t see very well, and then someone ran into a bee’s nest where the treasure was supposedly hidden, so we stopped searching. 😐

It was SO much fun and I certainly was surprised. 🙂  I even got my own costume…and tattoos!

Nice facial expression, right?!

We all had tattoos, it was very fun!  I am very grateful to Skylar for planning it, and to my friends and family for helping out.

(Monday and Tuesday were normal days, so don’t really have anything to write about them…)

Wednesday July 11th 2012: Yesterday was my birthday, and what a great one it was.  We had a busy morning and early afternoon, then we celebrated in the evening.  Adam, my dear brother-in-law, bought a beautiful cupcake for me and was going to surprise me with it at my guitar lesson, but very sadly I had to cancel the lesson and I felt very bad because he was going to have a mini party for me.  He’s the dearest and a truly appreciate the kind thought *thank you Adam*!! 🙂  My dear friend came over and we ate dinner, opened presents, and had dessert–a vanilla cake with purple vanilla icing.  We then left to meet my sisters, Sarah, Bess, and Sklyar, at the movie theater where we saw Brave (<—click to see trailer), the new Pixar movie…it was SO good!  I very highly recommend it to everyone.  Hilarious, sad, sweet, scary, and action packed!  After the great movie we brought my friend home then came home and went to bed.  It was a very fun day and I was quite grateful for everything. 🙂  (Some pictures below)

Sylvie got this very enchanting gnome stump for me that I love!  The door opens. 🙂

I got TONS of books which I am quite happy about!  Books are wonderful, and all of these (except one) are Sharon Creech books and she’s my favorite author.

It’s just impossible to get a picture of me smiling! 😉

Beautiful–and yummy–cake!  I got a very cool balloon too, but I didn’t take a picture of it.

It was a very pleasant day and I was very happy to have spent the rest of it with my friend and dear family.

~*~*~*~

Well, that’s all!  It has been a marvelous couple of days and I greatly enjoyed being a pirate and receiving such sweet, nice, and thoughtful gifts and cards, and I just can’t thank everyone enough. 🙂  I was surprised, we celebrated lots, and I wished for it to never have ended…

~*~*~*~

Just a note: We’ll have the puppies for only 12 more days!  They are getting so big and cute. 😉

Well, it is raining and I am going to eat dinner.  God bless and I’ll be posting again soon.

1st of the Month

Once again I will say…..Happy July 1st, 2012!

Here is Jesus’ Calling from today. 🙂  Enjoy, and God bless!

I am Life and Light in abundance.  As you spend time “soaking” in My Presence, you are energized and lightened.  Through communing with Me, you transfer your heavy burdens to My strong shoulders.  By gazing at Me, you gain My perspective on your life.  This time alone with Me is essential for unscrambling your thoughts and smoothing out the day before you.

Be willing to fight for this precious time with Me.  Opposition comes in many forms: your own desire to linger in bed; the evil one’s determination to distract you from Me; the pressure of family, friends, and your own inner critic to spend your time more productively.  As you grow in your desire to please Me above all else, you gain strength to resist these opponents.  Delight yourself in Me, for I am the deepest Desire of your heart.

Psalm 48:9; Deuteronomy 33:12; Psalm 37:4

Have a great summer!
